Week At A Glance, September 8th to 12th

Monday, September 8th, 2025: 

• Grade 7’s leaving for Timberline Camp (arrive to school at 8:30)
• Full Day for Kindergarten students

Tuesday, September 9th, 2025:

• Grade 7’s at Timberline Camp

Wednesday, September 10th, 2025:

• Grade 7’s return from Timberline Camp (pick up from school)

Thursday, September 11th, 2025:

• Cross Country Practice at 7:45 am
• Meet the Teacher Night at the school 6:45 pm (Parents Only – mandatory meeting, at least one parent must attend)

Friday, September 12th, 2025:

• Rosary (Grade 6)
• Walkathon Forms Distributed; Walkathon Campaign Launches!
• Early Dismissal 2:00 pm

Absences and Late Notes: 
Please email the office at office@sfaschool.ca if you child will be away from school or late. 

School Uniform: 
Requirements of the school uniform:

• SHOES:  students are permitted to wear black shoes or all-black runners. Shoes must be entirely black, including soles, laces, and logos, with no visible markings or colours. 
• SOCKS:  Girls are permitted to wear navy blue knee high socks/tights in the Winter and Boys are permitted to wear navy blue socks ; Boys and Girls are permitted to wear navy ankle-socks or navy knee high socks with the Summer Uniform
• PANTS:  pants are to be kept in good condition (no holes/frays)
• KILT/SKORT:  to be worn no higher than 2 inches above the knee
• MAKE-UP: Girls may wear only clear nail polish or lip balm. No other nail polish or make-up is permitted.

Morning Drop Off: 
Reminder – Morning Drop Off: a friendly reminder that students are not to be dropped off before 8:15 am as supervision does not officially begin until 8:15 am. Students who are dropped off before 8:15 am will be charged an automatic Before School Club fee. Thank you for understanding and cooperation.

Hot Lunch Program: 
Fuel Catering is our hot lunch program. Hot lunch is delivered every Wednesday during the school year. Please see the flyer below for details on ordering. All order are done directly online through . The first hot lunch is September 17th. Students that are away on hot lunch day will have their lunch sent home with a sibling or kept in the fridge till Friday. 

Grade 7 Pizza Lunch Fundraiser: 
Once again the Grade 7 Class will be hosting Pizza Hut Lunch Fundraisers  throughout this year to support our 2026 graduation event.

Our first pizza lunch will take place on Thursday, September 18th. You can place your child’s order through the Cheddar Up link below until Wednesday, September 10th at 3pm.

This is a great way to help our grads raise funds for a memorable event and it means one less lunch to pack for you!!
