Saturday, February 8th, 2025:  Family Dance at OLS 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm

Sunday, February 9th, 2025: Family Mass, Grade 1 and Grade 5 @ 10:30 am (Please join us for Mass. Light refreshments will be served after the Mass)

Morning Mass:

Our next invitation for all SFA students and parents to attend 8:00 am Morning Mass will be on Thursday, February 6, 2025! 

Annual General Meeting:

“Reminder” our Annual General Meeting is on February 20, 2025 at 6:45 pm at the church hall – at least one parent must attend. Re-registration packages will be given out this night.

Family Dance:

With just over a week away, the countdown is on to Dance through the Decades at our SFA Family Dance!
If you haven’t bought your tickets yet, please do so as you’ll need them to attend and we won’t be selling them the day of, or at the venue.  Reminder, you can also pre-purchase concession stand and pizza slice tickets to avoid line-ups. Tickets for these items will also be available for purchase at the dance.

Grade 7 Pizza Lunch:

The Grade 7s are holding another pizza fundraising lunch on Thursday, February 20, 2025.  The deadline to order for your child will be on February 11 2025.  Click PIZZA LUNCH ORDERING LINK to link to the ordering page.  Thank you for your support!

School Closures Due to Weather:

Please note: For any school closures, an email will be sent out to all families by 6:30 am. If the school remains open there will not be any communication sent. Please remember it is always the parents’ decision if you want to keep your child home it you feel it is unsafe to travel.

Cold Weather:

Please make sure your child has a jackets/gloves/hat with them everyday. Students will be outside in the morning and during recess time. 

Red and Green Day:

Thank you to everyone that brought in a toonie on our Red and Green Day. As a school community we raised $465.00 for our foster child Miguel.

February 10th – Snowshoeing Grade 3 (Arrive at school at 8:30 am)

February 11th – Red Day (Wear red, pink, purple bring $2.00 for Variety Club)

February 13th & 14th – Catholic Educators Conference – NO SCHOOL

February 17th – Family Day – NO SCHOOL

February 20th – Annual General Meeting at the church hall at 6:45 pm – mandatory meeting; at least one parent attends, re-registration packages will be given out

February 21st – Rosary Grade 3

February 22nd – Work Bee 8:30 am

March 6th – Celebration of Learning, Previously called Student Led Conferences, (No regular classes on this day), Re-Registration packaged due back to school

March 14th – Last day before Spring Break, Noon Dismissal, No ASC

March 17th to 28th – Spring Break

March 31st – School Reopens at 8:40 am
